Os desgastes causados pelas chuvas nas estradas rurais de Araxá começam a ser recuperados no período de estiagem. Vias de Araxá recebem operação tapa-buracos A Secretaria Municipal de Obras Públicas e Mobilidade Urbana está realizando operação tapa-buracos em diversas vias de Araxá. As avenidas Vereador João Sena e Dâmaso Drummond, rua Ipiaó, no Centro, e as ruas Ricardo Rabelo e Antônio da Silva, no bairro Aeroporto, já foram atendidas. O prefeito Robson Magela foi empossado como presidente da Junta Militar de Araxá na manhã desta segunda-feira (11). Ele esteve acompanhando no ato pelo vice-prefeito e secretário municipal de Governo, Mauro Chaves. Ao assumir o cargo, Robson prestou o juramento de “envidar todos os esforços no sentido de cumprir e fazer cumprir, pelos munícipes, os deveres relativos ao Serviço Militar, a fim de que nosso município contribua para o exercício da Cidadania e o engrandecimento da Pátria”.
